Our Printing Process: DTF (Direct to Film)

DTF (Direct to Film) printing is a relatively new technique in the textile printing industry. It allows for transferring patterns, images, or logos directly onto a garment, offering an alternative to more traditional methods like DTG (Direct to Garment), screen printing, or heat transfer.

How Does DTF Printing Work?

1. Creating the Design : The image or design is first printed onto a special film using a printer specifically designed for this technology, utilizing special DTF inks.

2. Applying Adhesive Powder: After printing, an adhesive powder is applied to the still-wet ink. This powder is then heated to create a sticky layer that allows the design to be transferred onto the fabric.

3. Transferring onto Fabric: The printed and adhesive-coated film is then placed on the fabric and pressed using a heat press. Under heat and pressure, the ink transfers from the film to the garment, creating a vibrant and durable print.

4. Removing the Film: Once cooled, the film is carefully peeled off, leaving only the printed design on the garment.
